Clayton
Horton, Director of The Yoga Company and Greenpath
Yoga Studio, has been a student of yoga for over 14 years
and began teaching in 1996. Clayton has traveled to India
and studied with Pattabhi K. Jois and B.N.S. Iyengar.
His practice is deeply rooted in the Ashtanga Tradition
and Greenpath meditation. As a musician, he has studied
at the Ali Akbar Khan School of East Indian Music. Commited
to the blending of Eastern and Western ideas, Clayton
specializes in Ashtanga Vinyassa, Greenpath Vinyassa,
Partner, and Golf Yoga. He is a student of the Greensufi
and Pattabhi K. Jois. In February of 2003, he received
Formal Authorization to teach Ashtanga Yoga by the Ashtanga
Yoga Research Institute in Mysore South India. |

Michael
Cerda, is co-founder and director of The Yoga Company.
His purpose for starting The Yoga Company was to create
an accessible environment for yoga practice. That purpose
has evolved and continues to evolve into that of fostering
a yoga community. Michael has also recently combined his
love for music and yoga in a CD release "Yoga Tunes by
The Yoga Company - A Benefit for Karma for Kids Volume
I". Michael's formal teacher training was done at Greenpath
Yoga Studio in San Francisco with Clayton Horton, but
his training continues with many teachers. Michael's class
leverages his background in Ashtanga to deliver a freestyle
flow class. |

Mariellen
Couppee, RYT, practices and teaches a vigorous Ashtanga
based vinyasa in which she incorporates breath with movement
to promote health and the evolution of the hidden energy
within. Recently completing teacher training with David
Swenson and intensives with Ana Forrest, she merges them
together to create her own authentic expression.

Shastri, has been practicing yoga for the past 25
years. He studied under the guidance of Sri Vishnu Prasadji.
Shastri hails from North India and has had 20 years of
extensive teaching experience. He teaches Ashtanga and
Dynamic Hatha yoga. |

Reena
Shastri, has been practicing Yoga since 1985. She
has studied under the guidance of her teacher, Sri Aghoreshwar.
She comes from the tradition of Aghor Yoga - the simple
way. Her five years teaching experience include traditional
Hatha Yoga instruction to groups and individuals. |

Emily King,
loves yoga for its ability to instill balance, strength,
and flexibility in body, mind, and spirit. Her backgrounds
in modern dance, gymnastics, and massage therapy inform
her practice and teaching. Studying with Laura Camp and
Tim Thompson inspired her love of Ashtanga and flow yoga,
and she has completed teacher training with Tim Miller,
Erich Schiffmann, and Clayton Horton at Greenpath Yoga. |

Tara
Beane, received her certification through At One Yoga
in Scottsdale Arizona. She weaves insights from her extensive
dance training into a dynamic vinyasa style practice.
She has been strongly influenced by her continuing studies
of Ashtanga, Iyengar and Anusara traditions. Tara emphasizes
qualities of mindfulness, music, spirituality and grace
empowering her students to unfold their greatness from
within. |

Theres
Frey, brings a structured approach to yoga in her
classes. Her calming delivery allows students to fall
deeper into their yoga practice. Theres earned her Ashtanga
certificate from It's Yoga in San Francisco. |

Gloria
Persico, R.Y.T., Yoga Alliance Member, Kripalu Certified
Yoga Instructor presently enrolled in the Advanced Teacher
Training at Kripalu and co-founder of The Yoga Company
brings brings over 10 years
experience as a certified fitness instructor (AFAA--Aerobics
Fitness
Association of America, Cycle Reebok). She has taught
at corporate locations such as The Hartford Insurance
Company, Cigna Healthcare and Chevron. Her class instruction
is informative, inspiring and fun. |

Capes,
an avid yoga practitioner is enrolled in the Iyengar Institute
Advanced Studies Program as well as Deepak Chopra's Center
for Ayurvedic Studies. Her focus is on alignment and mindful
transitions through vinyasa. |

Roberta
Black, R.Y.T., Yoga Alliance Member, is a Kripalu
Certified Yoga Instructor. Her focus is on building strength
through enhancing the mind/body/spirit connection. Emphasisis
placed on self acceptance, staying present in the moment
and finding balance in the physical and emotional body.

Kelli
Barnett, a massage therapist who wanted to add movement
to her healing techniques, studied yoga at the Shoshoni
Ashram in Colorado. Her bright energy shines a healthy
and fun light into her classes.
